We accept new bookkeeping and tax planning clients year-round. We start filling up our tax prep roster in October for the following tax season.
Xero will always be our top choice, but if you have years of history in your QuickBooks Online account, we’re skilled in QBO, too.
Because sometimes getting on a call is just easier, we offer calls across all our services:
- Monthly bookkeeping clients have the option for a 30-minute check-in call each quarter.
- Tax planning clients get on a call with us twice a year—in the summer and before year-end.
- Tax Preparation clients are offered a call to review your return once it’s drafted.
So that we’re not having three different conversations on different platforms, we like to keep everything consolidated in our email. You’re welcome to hit us up at any time of the month!
Our Calm Cash Consultancy clients get slack access for day-to-day communication.
We auto-bill for our monthly services (bookkeeping, tax planning and the calm cash consultancy) on the first of the month. Fees for tax preparation services are due in January.

We need accurate books to develop a tax plan that actually works, sooo we’re going to have to answer this on a case-by-case basis. BUT, if your business is on the simpler-side and we both (you and I) feel confident in what you’re doing, then absolutely. We’ll even check in on your bookkeeping twice a year to advise on any small corrections you may need to make.
If things start to get more complex, we’ll be clear about when you need to get bookkeeping support.
